Situatie
AHCI Link Power Management este o tehnica in care controlerul SATA AHCI pune link-ul SATA pentru HDD-ul sau SSD-ul intr-un mod foarte redus de energie atunci cand nu exista nici o activitate pe disc. Controlerul pune in mod automat HDD-ul/SSd-ul inapoi în starea de Active Power, atunci cand exista activitare pe HDD/SSD . Acest lucru se face pentru a economisi consumul de catre HDD sau SSD.
HIPM = Host Initiated Link Power Management
DIPM = Device Initiated Link Power Management

Creati un document text unde adaugati urmatoarele linii:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

Dati click pe fereastra de start(1), cautati Power Options(2) apoi selectati Power Options(3)
Click pe Change plan settings
Click Change advanced power settings
Cautati optiunea nou aparuta si selectati HIPM+DIPM, apoi aplicati schimbarile facute
