Situatie
Ai uitat parola de logare in WordPress.
Backup
- Trebuie sa stii username-ul de administrator.
- Se va updata parola de administrator si se vor trimite noile informatii la adresa de mail a administratorului site-ului.
- Chiar daca nu primesti email, parola se va modifica.
- Nu trebuie sa fii logat pentru a reseta parola. Daca te puteai loga, nu mai aveai nevoie de script.
- Salvezi un script in root-ul aplicatiei WordPress. Nu updata acest script in folderul de Plugins al aplicatiei WordPress.
- Sterge fisierul cand termini din motive de securitate.

Pasi de urmat
Salvezi scriptul de mai jos intr-un fisier numit emergency.php, in root-ul aplicatiei WordPress ( acelasi folder in care se afla si fisierul wp-config.php ).

Accesezi in browser adresa http://example.com/emergency.php. Se va deschide o fereastra asemanatoare cu:
Introduci username-ul de administrator si noua parola, apoi apesi Update Options.
Se va afisa un mesaj de confirmare a schimbarii parolei si se va trimite un mail catre administratorul site-ului cu noile informatii. In acest moment parola a fost resetata.
Trebuie sa stii username-ul valid pentru logare. Daca introduci un user invalid, vei primi un mesaj de eroare:
Stergi fisierul emergency.php de pe server. Acest fisier trebuie sters pentru a evita posibilitatea ca altcineva sa iti schimbe parola.
Te loghezi cu noua parola in contul de WordPress.
