Situatie
After upgrading your PC to a newer version of Windows, the PC keeps a folder by the name Windows.old that contains the files of the previously installed windows.
Solutie
Windows 11
Step 1: Open settings on your PC by pressing Win+I on the keyboard.
Step 2: In Settings, navigate to System > Storage.
Step 3: Scroll down and switch on the toggle for Storage Sense feature if it is not already.
Step 3: After enabling Storage Sense, click on it.
Step 4: Now, scroll down and click on the Run Storage Sense Now option.
Windows 10
Step 1: Open Windows Settings by pressing Win+I on the keyboard.
Step 2: Navigate to System > Storage.
Step 3: Under the Storage Sense section, click on the Configure Storage Sense or run it now option.
Step 4: Here, checkmark the Delete previous version of Windows option and click on the Clean Now button.
