Gmail has a few smart settings that can help you better sort your email in the same place to make them easier to find and manage.From advertisements to social media to updates from google or other websites you are using. Some of these labels and categories are not on by default so you might want to turn them on.

- First,open your webmail version of Gmail.
- Go to the settings cogwheel in the top right corner.It will expand a new menu.Select the “See all settings option”
- On the new page you will have to click on the “labels” setting next to the “general” tab.
- Once there you can scroll down the list and select which categories or labels to show/hide.The new categories will appear on the mail folder list on the left.
