Situatie
One day you turn the PC on and see that all of your icons are stacked over each other and you are unable to move them back to the original positions. Could have happened due to windows update or a unexpected bug triggered by something that was done on the PC prior to shutting it down.
Backup
First,create a backup of your registry before starting. (File > export >select a location and save the backup).
Solutie
Open the registry editor and go to the following path:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\CONTROLPANEL\DESKTOP\WINDOWMETRICS
At the location you will find one or more entries.Double click IconSpacing and set the Value Data to -1125, click OK.
