1. Check Physical Connections:

  • Ensure all cables (Ethernet or Wi-Fi) are securely connected.
  • Restart your modem and router.

2. Verify Network Adapter:

  • Press Win + X and select “Device Manager.”
  • Locate “Network adapters” and check for any warning symbols.
  • If an issue is found, right-click on the adapter and select “Update driver.”

3. Restart Your Computer:

  • Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary network issues.
  • Save your work and restart your computer.

4. Check Wi-Fi/Network Settings:

  • For Wi-Fi issues, click on the Wi-Fi icon in the taskbar and troubleshoot problems.
  • For wired connections, go to “Network and Sharing Center” and click on “Change adapter settings” to check the Ethernet connection.

5. Run Network Troubleshooter:

  • Press Win + I to open Settings, go to “Update & Security,” and select “Troubleshoot.”
  • Run the “Internet Connections” troubleshooter.

6. Check IP Configuration:

  • Open Command Prompt as Administrator (Win + X -> “Command Prompt (Admin)” or “PowerShell (Admin)”).
